Access Control Systems

Access Control Systems perform two primary functions, (i) Control of all Entry/Exit points from an Area/Facility, and (ii) Tracks and Logs personnel throughout a facility.

The Access Control forms a security barrier and hence protects the facilities from unauthorized entries. Every individual working in the facility has unique cards hence trespassing is avoided.

The Access can be controlled through various mechanisms such as door locks, turnstiles, sliding doors, retractable barriers and swing gates among others, based on the level of security desired.

The basic system will have a reader request to exit switch, lock or turnstile or any other barrier, controller to control all these devices and software for generation of various reports.

Firepro has the capability to integrate access control solutions to meet all kinds of customer requirements. From small to medium (1 to 64 doors) single site requirements to large enterprise wide multilocation solutions. We use state-of-the-art products and technology to integrate customer specific solutions.

Proximity cards and readers are the most commonly used Access Control system these days. The name proximity is derived from the fact that there is no direct contact between the card and the sensor unlike some of the older technologies.
